What to Expect
Corner Brook Baptist…
…is a growing community church located in beautiful Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Our friendly and relaxed atmosphere, multi-cultural identity, and Biblical commitment make this a wonderful place to worship.
Where does your church meet?
We are currently meeting on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m., at our church, 11 O'Connell Drive.
What “style” of church is CBBC?
We consider ourselves to be a relaxed church, where you can feel free to be yourself. Our worship is mainly contemporary with a blend of older music. Some of our congregation members like to dress up… others, not so much :) You are welcome to come as you are!
Who are your pastors?
Our church is pastored by our Lead Pastor, Mitchell Foley, and our Associate Pastor, Dan Bursey.
We are also blessed to have a strong base of leadership, including deacons, trustees, and ministry leaders.
Is there something available for my children or teenagers on Sunday mornings?
Yes. During the preaching, we offer a Children’s Church for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6, as well as a youth class for those in Grades 7-12.
There is also a staffed nursery available during the service for our littlest church members.
To ensure the safety of your children, all of our leaders have been screened and trained according to CBBC’s SafeChurch child protection policy.
What is your denominational affiliation?
CBBC is blessed to be a member of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC), who is a ministry partnership of more than 428 Canadian Baptist churches and 21 Associations in the Atlantic Provinces. CBAC is committed to the growth of God’s Kingdom by connecting and equipping churches to fully participate in their God-given mission.
