WOMEN’S CONNECTION GROUP

Women can join us on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the church for bible study, prayer, and fellowship. This season, we are studying the Book of Esther.

God is always at work in the background, even when he seems silent. This powerful truth is evident in the book of Esther—a story of God’s providence and the preservation of his people during their exile in Persia. In this seven-session series, Rev. Dr. Danielle Brown will help us see that despite moral corruption, national chaos, and the emotional turmoil of the main characters, God will never abandon his people and is positioning us for a purpose bigger than we can imagine.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

During Pastor's Appreciation Month, pray for the pastors who faithfully serve and lead their congregations. Thank God for their dedication, and ask for God's strength, encouragement, and rest for them. Pray also for CBAC’s Leadership Development department (Garth Williams and Andrew Myers) who work to equip and strengthen leaders who can lead healthy and vibrant churches.

ALLERGIES

Our congregation has some people whose allergies and asthma can be triggered by strong scents and perfumes. Therefore, we would like to be as scent-free as possible.

If you are fit and able, would you consider parking off-site at Margaret Bowater Park to leave room for the elderly, our visitors, or anyone who needs to park close to the church?
