VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
Join us at the church on Sunday, May 5, at 6:00 p.m. Our theme is Hawaiian! Wear a Hawaiian shirt or flowers. The ministries at Corner Brook Baptist Church would not be possible without our amazing volunteers. We want to say “Thank You” by inviting you to our Volunteer Appreciation Night and dinner.
DYING WITH CHRIST - LIVING WITH HOPE
Join us at the church on Wednesday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. for our last session, in which we will focus on the Christian duty to care. A Connection Group on medical and theological issues related to the value and dignity of human life. This will examine how the expansion of euthanasia in Canada challenges the Christian view of death. Life is a gift from God, and our society is in need of Christian hope.
CORNER BROOK GLOW — FAITH-BASED KIDS EVENT
For kids ages 4 - Grade 6 on Saturday, May 11, from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church (58 Premier Drive). Music, games, crafts, glow activities, free lunch and a lesson about God. Lunch: pizza, garlic fingers and cookies. Bring along an item for the food bank! Wear white clothes for glow activities. Registration deadline: May 6. KNITTING BEGINNERS AND MENTORS

As per our Child Protection Policies, we are asking that parents not let their children go downstairs unsupervised during the first part of our service. We do not have supervision for them before our children's program starts.
ALLERGIES
Our congregation has some people whose allergies and asthma can be triggered by strong scents and perfumes. Therefore, we would like to be as scent-free as possible.
