SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at 11 O'Connell Drive

JOIN US FOR A TIME OF FELLOWSHIP AND LIVELY WORSHIP THROUGH SONG AND A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR MITCHELL FOLEY, PASTOR DAN BURSEY OR ONE OF OUR SPEAKERS.

  • After the service, we sometimes have Coffee Time and serve coffee and treats.

  • On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a Communion service at the end of the Worship Service.

  • During the service, we have a Kid's Ministry and Nursery.

We take a morning offering each Sunday but ask that anyone visiting our church not feel obliged to contribute as the members of our church more than look after its needs. If you feel led to give, we welcome it for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

We have some people in our congregation whose allergies and asthma can be triggered by strong scents and perfumes. Therefore, we would like to be as scent-free as possible. Would you help us by not wearing perfumes and colognes when attending church? Thank you!

CONNECTION GROUPS

Connection groups meet weekly to study the written Word of God, featuring prepared material and discussion. Connection groups are an excellent way to learn more about Jesus, pray for one another, and build friendships.

DYING WITH CHRIST - LIVING WITH HOPE

JOIN US ON WEDNESDAYS (APRIL 17, MAY 1, AND MAY 8) AT 7:30 P.M. A Connection Group on medical and theological issues related to the value and dignity of human life. This will examine how the expansion of euthanasia in Canada challenges the Christian view of death. Life is a gift from God, and our society is in need of Christian hope.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. - John 15:7-8

STUDENT BREAKFAST

Photograph of pancakes with raspberries and blueberries.

THIS EVENT WILL START UP AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER.

We host a weekly student breakfast at the church. Post-secondary students of all faiths (or non-faiths) are extended an open invitation to join us at any time. We serve a hearty, healthy breakfast followed by a short (optional) ‘check-in’ time where students are encouraged to share what’s going on in their lives inside and outside of school in a given week. Our deacon, Ken Jacobsen, then shares a short reading or video on which we’ll discuss our thoughts.

We provide transportation to and from the church for this breakfast. Rides will be provided to students starting at 6:30 a.m. from the Flagpoles at Grenfell Campus.
